WHAT’S HAPPENING NEXT?
This is the latest update for the Midrise Refurbishment Project.
Joanne Workman – Owner Project Manager.
March 18, 2016.
Now that the paint color has been decided and the tile work done, Estate Restorations (Rick Veit) will be the only contractor on the premises until the carpet is installed, which is currently scheduled to start on April 18th.
Rick will be doing final wall prep, painting stairwell doors, refuse doors, walls, and JUST THE UNIT DOOR TRIM.
Your unit doors will be done AFTER THE CARPET IS INSTALLED.
Since Rick (and his crew Moe, Scott & Colin) will be in various buildings on different days doing his work, there will be no “job schedule” notices at this time. It is impractical to pin down work on individual buildings on particular days as the work will be “scattered” among the buildings.
While all the painting & wall prep will be going on, be careful coming and going from you unit. Try to “stay out of their way” and let them finish this phase.
Once this phase is done, we expect carpet to be installed starting April 18th.
After the old carpet is removed and the new carpet put in (estimate 1-2 weeks), the new wallpaper will be installed and the unit doors painted. Special security arrangements will be made during the painting of your unit doors. More on this later.
The estimated completion date for the project is now mid June 2016.
I will be away on holidays March 30th – April 22nd. Norm Freeman will be in charge while I am away.
